Let’s face it. 2022 was a challenging year for LGBTQ rights not just in America but around the world. From Governors making it illegal to talk about Queer and Trans or offer support to Queer and Trans students all the way to taking Trans children away from affirming families. Making Trans healthcare harder to downright impossible to obtain. And just in part making lives for many Queer and Trans youth difficult if not impossible.

For a long time many Queer and Trans youth have found solace in fandom spaces. Whether is for tv shows, movies, books, comics and manga, and more. In these spaces they aren’t just a queer or trans kid. They are either a great artist or an amazing fanfic writer or an talented Cosplayer.

Fandom can be Inclusive and Queer! That’s what we are here for today. We are here to announce the creation of the “No Bait Just Queer” charity fanzine this year.

2. This is an Art and Fanfiction Zine, please make your submissions your own works or if it is commissioned please have the Artists permission to display their work in the Zine

3.This is a SFW project so please keep it PG-13. There are currently no plans for a NSFW version (shirtless is fine) at this time though if that changes we will let you know.

4.Couples can be canon or fanmade. Let your imagination run wild. Be it Traditional or digital.

5.All Fanfics must be at 3000 words maximum (your average one shot fic)

6.If the art for the fandom you’re drawing for has your OC (Original Character) paired with a character in the show or game please let us know so we can plan accordingly

7.Have fun, remember to Drink Water, take breaks if you need to.

Here are the Hard Limits (AKA Not Allowed) in the Zine

No Toxic Relationships (example Charlie X Ben, Lapis Lazuli X Jasper, Angel Dust X Valentino et al.)

No Big Age Gaps (1-2 years difference is fine)

No Racism or Sexism or Ableism in any of the content unless it is portrayed in a negative light

No Homophobic or Transphobic content (It should be obvious why THAT isn’t allowed. )

No Student X Teacher relationships or Adult relationships with ANYONE Underage (That is RIGHT OUT )

Villain Character or Problematic Characters are allowed just not shipped with anyone Underage
